A Little Introduction...

My work as a professional disciplinarian and content creator certainly keeps me busy, but perhaps because I feel so passionately about what I do, I also rather enjoy talking about it. I enjoy sharing my experiences, exchanging ideas and discovering other people who understand this rather unusual world. After all, there is something ever so lovely about finding people with whom you can relate.

And, naturally, I have accumulated rather a lot of experiences and opinions along the way — it seems only fair that I should share some of those too. And I certainly won’t pretend that kink and discipline are the only things that interest me. My curiosity wanders into all sorts of places, some closely connected to my work and others not remotely so. From time to time, something entirely unrelated may therefore find its way onto these pages, simply because it has caught my attention, made me think, or because I have something to say about it.

So this blog will be somewhere for me to put my thoughts into words: experiences from my professional life, things I am working on, observations, anecdotes and whatever else happens to catch my interest. I hope that some of it might be useful, some of it interesting, and perhaps some of it simply entertaining. I will also use it as an opportunity to share photographs, illustrations and little glimpses into my world that might otherwise have nowhere quite to belong.

And I am exceedingly fortunate to be doing this in the age of AI, which means I can have somebody quietly checking my spelling and grammar before I press Publish. As many of

you already know, English is not my native language. The thoughts, experiences and opinions, however, are entirely my own — AI merely makes sure I put the letters in the right order.

As for how often I shall be here, I make absolutely no promises. I will contribute to this blog when I feel like it and when I have something I would like to share. I have no intention of allowing it to become another obligation, deadline or source of stress, so expect a decidedly casual pace and the occasional appearance when the mood takes me. I do hope some of you will stop by, read my ramblings and enjoy them. And if you do, please let me know — it is always rather nice to know that somebody is listening.
